| This white Colorado alabaster sculpture is highly polished to accentuate the natural streaks inherent in the stone. These markings are barely visible during carving, and begin to emerge only as the piece is in its final sanding and polishing phase. I was especially pleased to see that the effect harmonized perfectly with the theme of this piece. |
